Currently in the bidding process, this 3,500 sf addition for the Pine River-Backus School District is the first project under the design-build contract with Sorensen Gross Construction Services (SGCS), under the EZIQC system, and is administered by the National Joint Powers Association Co-Op (NJPA), located in Staples, Minnesota.
Harriss was asked by SGCS to value engineer an existing plan to bring the project into budgetary compliance with the requirements of the school district. The project will house new administrative offices for the school district, located at the Pine River/Backus school.
