Harriss Architects has begun work on a new Kowalski's Market, to be located in Eagan, Minnesota. Harriss was awarded this project because of extensive experience with Kowalski's Markets, in locations all over the metro area.
Sustainable building design will be a highlight of this project, which will go through the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) review process, and will seek a LEED Silver designation. Green building features include a white reflective roofing system, energy efficient HVAC system, recycled construction materials, low VOC finishes, and Low Impact Design (LID).
