Harriss Architects was recently contracted by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Tarraf Construction to renovate an existing space in the VA Medical Center.
This new Transitional Housing Ward is used to transition patients between hospital and home care, so the client wanted a pleasant, welcoming, home-like environment. Harriss Architects delivered a design that was tailored towards a more residential look, primarily by upgrading finishes and lighting. |
