Master Planning is an endeavor that was originally generated by our Educational Work. Over the past several years, however, the work has evolved into a specialty service that extends into the Health Care, Commercial, and Retail fields.
The Master Planning process often evolves from a need by the client to assess and analyze a particular site; this "fit" plan is often the first step in the Master Plan. Moreover, most municipalities require some sort of overall plan for developments of over 20 acres.
Our approach to Master Planning is centered on several basic principles:
* An experiential emphasis on movement through the site
* The separation and defined relationship between pedestrian and
vehicular traffic
* A respect for the natural ecosystems of the site
